Flunk'd Case Study
THE GOAL
Produce a series of short videos to educate non-production students how to shoot and edit video. These videos would then be shown in Dr. Joonseong Lee's COMM 360 course.
THE PROCESS
Playing off the TV show, Punk'd, I decided to create a video series called Flunk'd where the professor would set up a scene and describe good/bad video techniques and then their would be a "real-life" student situation where the student would not produce the desired affect and consequently get "flunk'd."
THE RESULT
Six short videos placed on YouTube for students to view where ever they have access (computer, tv, cell phone, etc.).
THE REACTION
The videos have received numerous hits from around the world with no advertising besides the videos being shown in class. Tremendous support for the videos from students, faculty, and administrators from the University.
